Central Coffee Shoppe has great diner-style food at an affordable price.

This is one of my favorite places. Not only is the diner-style food fantastic and affordable – the folks that work there are friendly and helpful If you become a regular they will learn your name, your favorites, and when you go there it will feel like you’re visiting family. See you there.

Open for breakfast and lunch this gem has comfy counter seating and a half dozen tables. Once in the door you feel instantly at home. It’s as if Cheers served breakfast. I found this place on Urban Spoon. I had never heard of it beforehand. When we walked in for breakfast….we almost walked out as fast as we walked in. Great Service at this local diner, the Marlyn Monroe decor is nostalgic and the coffee is good and well refreshed. I enjoyed my Corned Beef Hash but especially enjoyed the top level friendly service that goes over and above the humble atmosphere which is nostalgic for anyone who remembers real old fashioned local coffee shops.

I LOVE this place! The cheeseburger omelette pulls my heartstrings 🙂 The girls who took over for their dad are seriously amazing little worker bees.
