Excellent breakfast food and Night Hawks ambiance. My favorite on their menu is the Big Meat Omelet with feta cheese, stuffed with sausage, bacon, and real ham. This is a place so Southern, the breakfast menu has catfish and eggs! If you ask for hot sauce, you get the best: Crystal.
OK lets start by saying as Chef I think l this place is #1 In my book The eegs always cook just right. The staff there is great and the food is always fresh . The pancakes are the size of your head that alone is WOW FACTOR. They make you feel like family . That may be because this family run business where the owner is on the grill really kicks butt. Open for breakfast and lunch this gem has comfy counter seating and a half dozen tables. Once in the door you feel instantly at home. It’s as if Cheers served breakfast. It obviously populated with regulars and you know that in just a few visits they would know how you like your eggs and your favoite newspaper section. This is one of my favorite places. Not only is the diner-style food fantastic and affordable – the folks that work there are friendly and helpful If you become a regular they will learn your name, your favorites, and when you go there it will feel like you’re visiting family. See you there.

I found this place on Urban Spoon. I had never heard of it beforehand. When we walked in for breakfast….we almost walked out as fast as we walked in. I am a little bit of a ‘restaurant snob’ according to my family. I was a little scared of this hole in the wall place and had already judged the place before I even sat down. Great Service at this local diner, the Marlyn Monroe decor is nostalgic and the coffee is good and well refreshed. I enjoyed my Corned Beef Hash but especially enjoyed the top level friendly service that goes over and above the humble atmosphere which is nostalgic for anyone who remembers real old fashioned local coffee shops.
I LOVE this place! The cheeseburger omelette pulls my heartstrings 🙂 The girls who took over for their dad are seriously amazing little worker bees. Customer service from Roger, etc. turned me quickly into a regular. Even if I haven’t been in a month, I feel like an old friend when I walk in the door. One of my go-to breakfast/lunch take out spots!
I have been going there for 21 years, and watched those legs get longer and longer. Restaurants come and go, but the coffee shop will always be there.
